In our latest video update we run down the policy pledges from various parties affecting landlords in the upcoming General Election (taking place on 4th July).

The election has changed some of the dynamics across the industry, especially after the Renters Reform Bill did not make it through the end of parliament 'wash-up', wasting a lot of preparation work across many sectors. That said some of the principles of the bill remain and there is likely to be significant change to the private rented sector over the next few years with almost all parties vowing to abolish the Section 21.

As we have learned though, this is not as easy as it sounds and adequate provisions and timeframes need to be made before and news laws come in. Please be assured that as soon as we know, you'll know too!

We also cover -
- how the local market is performing.
- how high demand doesn't always equal high rents.
